UMUDA ISINGWU: WHO FUNDED IT? QUESTION ANSWERED – NOW ANSWER OURS: WHERE IS OBI AGUOCHA’S N40 BILLION?

You wrote seven paragraphs of history rewriting about Umuda Isingwu transformer. We answer you briskly: That transformer was attracted and facilitated by Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji as Member representing Umuahia Central with verifiable delivery note, and it is still standing in Umuda today serving the people. If it was rejected as you lie, go and remove it. If community spent money repairing it, show receipt. You have none. Now our question to you – since you love accountability.

If you want source of funds – Chinedum never claimed he used his personal salary to buy 500kva transformer for Umuda Isingwu, or mini-stadium in Afugiri, or boreholes in Ward 3. He used his mandate as State legislator to attract constituency projects and ensured execution. That is representation. Government funds, yes – but attracted by capacity. Where is the 500kva you attracted with Federal Government funds as Federal legislator? Show us one.

Now the real question you diverted from: What has Obi Aguocha done with humongous Constituency funds he has received from Federal Government? According to The Guardian, Ikwuano Umuahia North and South received N40.89 billion earmarked for projects between 2024-2026. That is not state capital expenditure, that is Federal Constituency allocation, zonal intervention, and SEDC/NDDC. Where is it? In Umuakam Nkwoegwu road? No. In Umunemeze light? No. In Oriendu Primary School Ubaha? No.

You ask who was Ikuku before his father became Governor. We ask: Who was Obi Aguocha before he became Reps Member? What company did he establish before? How many jobs did he create? What school did he build? Ikuku built stadium before his second term, employed 300 youths on his payroll as Speaker. What did Aguocha build with his private company before politics? Mention one. If you live in glass house, don’t throw stone.

You talk of boreholes in Ward 3 and pumps removed after 2023. You lie again. The pumps were solar reticulated boreholes, maintained by community. If you claim they were removed, provide date, community, police report, picture of removal. He who alleges must prove. Provide documentation from Abia State Water Board or Ministry of Public Utilities. You have none because it is blackmail – your source of living, as we said.

You claim public projects must not be presented as personal favours. Correct. So why is Obi Aguocha presenting monetary donation in Ofeke Azueke Ndume Ibeku as “I restored electricity”? Community leader Prince Clinton Alozie said it is false. Why is he presenting Federal Medical Centre Ikwuano phantom project? Why is he presenting Ofeme road inspection as achievement when road is still deplorable? That is deception you preach against. Remove log in your eye.

Your position is Obi Aguocha till 2031. Our position is: Leadership must be judged by integrity, accountability and lasting impact. Till 2031 with what? With no light in Umuakam? With no road to Federal College Ofeme? With deserted Oriendu Primary School? With phantom projects in Ubakala? If integrity is your standard, publish scorecard. Publish contractor, cost, location, completion certificate for every kobo of that N40.89 billion. Publish transformer tested by professional scrutiny – name of engineer, test result.

Finally, you say we are not fools. We agree. Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia are not fools. They will not accept substandard representation because it is presented as political achievement. Umuda Isingwu refused to be deceived? No – Umuda Isingwu refused to be deceived by YOU. They still have transformer, they still have water, they still have stadium. Go to Umuakam Nkwoegwu that has no road and ask if they refused to be deceived. That community is proof Aguocha failed. Bring scorecard, not story.
