OBI AGUOCHA, MUDSLINGING, BLACKMAIL AND DEFAMATION OF THE ORJIS: WHO IS CYBER BULLYING WHO?

1. The Question Before Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia
Obi Aguocha went to press today to cry about incitement, cyberbullying, and incitement to violence against him. The question that every reasonable person in Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South is asking is simple: Who is cyberbullying who? A man who has spent three years and some months criminalizing two citizens every day cannot wake up one morning to claim he is being bullied because one elder asked him to account for rice.
2. What Mudslinging Looks Like
Mudslinging is calling His Excellency Distinguished Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji and Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji criminals, looters, N60.85 billion thieves, N150 billion thieves, every day on Facebook Live, on radio, and through his paid goons. Blackmail is using an unproven 2017 petition to EFCC as if it is a Supreme Court judgement. Defamation is telling the world that a man who has not been convicted by any court in Nigeria is a criminal. This is what Obi Aguocha has done for three years and some months. Verbatim.
3. Produce The Judgement
The law is clear. Section 36(5) of the 1999 Constitution says every person is presumed innocent until proved guilty. EFCC arraigned Theodore Orji, Chinedum Orji and three others before Justice Lilian Abai of Federal High Court Umuahia on 16 counts. They pleaded not guilty. The case is still pending. There is no conviction. So we ask Obi Aguocha directly: Where is the court judgement that convicted Theodore Ahamefula Orji and Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji as criminals? Give us suit number, name of judge, date of judgement, and prison term. If you cannot produce it, then you have been defaming them, blackmailing them, and mudslinging for three years and some months.
4. The Most Shameful Cyberbullying: Lying That Chinedum Orji Was Beaten By Soldiers
If you still doubt who is the bully, remember two weeks ago. Aguocha’s goons manufactured a lie that Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji was battered by the Military and hurriedly flown overseas for treatment. No picture, no hospital name, no military unit, no date. Just pure fabrication to cause panic, to incite the public against a former Speaker, to make his family weep. Chinedum Orji was in his house in Umuahia, healthy. What is that if not cyberbullying? What is that if not incitement? What is that if not the criminal defamation Aguocha now cries about? A man who sponsors fake news that his opponent was beaten to near-death and flown abroad has no moral right to cry about cyberbullying when asked about rice.
5. The Blackmail Business Model
Aguocha’s politics has one business model – blackmail the Orjis to hide his own comatose representation. When constituents ask: Where is the N40.89 billion constituency fund for Ikwuano/Umuahia from 2024-2026? He answers: Orji looted. When they ask: Why is Federal road at your gate in Nkwoegwu still collapsed? He answers: Orji looted. When they ask: Where is our palliative rice? He answers: Orji looted. The Orjis are not on the ballot in 2027. Obi Aguocha is. Blackmail cannot be a scorecard.
6. Who Else Has He Bullied?
The Orjis are not his only victims. Chief Charles Ogbonna Evulogu Ibeku, an Ibeku elder, is now branded serial looter because he asked about rice. Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie Ikukufied, an accountability advocate, is vilified because he asked why Ginger Onwusibe can show projects with same allocation and Aguocha cannot. Pen Caleb is abused, Ikechi Nwachukwu from Nsirimo is called posh hotel boy, Chinedu Obilor from Umuahia North is insulted. All for asking: What have you done? If this is not cyberbullying, what is?
7. The Rice That Broke The Camel’s Back
The matter came to a head with rice. Two trailer loads of Federal Government palliative rice meant for the poorest in Ariam, Oboro, Oloko, Ibeku, Ohuhu, Ubakala, Olokoro. Evulogu Ibeku said openly: Aguocha sold it in connivance with his in-law Aham Uko to Anambra businessmen. He said: Sue me if I am lying. That is not bullying. That is a citizen exercising Section 39 right to hold a Representative to account. Aguocha’s media office admitted in August 2024 that people were protesting about rice palliatives, but till today no distribution list, no ward breakdown, no beneficiary phone numbers.
8. The Difference Between Allegation And Conviction
Aguocha does not understand the difference. He treats EFCC allegation against Orjis as conviction, but treats Evulogu’s allegation against him as cyberbullying. He cannot have it both ways. If allegation is enough to call Orjis criminals for three years and some months, then allegation is enough to call him rice seller until he clears himself in court. The standard must be one.
9. Crocodile Tears Cannot Cover Comatose Representation
This cry of incitement to violence is a well-known script. When a failed Representative has no bill passed, no federal road fixed, no sustainable youth empowerment, no classroom built with constituency fund, he looks for sympathy. He cannot show what he did with N40.89 billion, so he shows a press release that he is being bullied. Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia are not fools. They know who is bullying who. You bullied the Orjis for three years and some months without judgement. One man asked you about rice, you cry.
10. What The Law Says About His Own Crimes
Under the Cybercrimes Act 2015 as amended, knowingly sending false message to cause annoyance, insult, injury or to criminalize a person without court judgement is cyberstalking and cyberbullying. Calling a man a criminal when no court has convicted him is defamation per se. Spreading false news that a man was battered by soldiers and flown abroad is even worse – it is injurious falsehood. If Theodore Orji and Chinedum Orji decide to sue Aguocha for three years and some months of daily criminalization and that evil military beating lie, how much will he pay?
11. Do Your Worst, But Bring The Judgement And The Rice List
So let us settle it. Obi Aguocha, do your worst. First, produce the court judgement that convicted Theodore Ahamefula Orji and Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji as criminals. If you have it, publish it tomorrow. Second, apologize for the fake news that Chinedum Orji was battered by military and flown abroad. Third, sue Chief Charles Ogbonna Evulogu Ibeku for saying you sold rice. Let court compel you to publish distribution list of rice and compel Evulogu to prove sale. That is how to answer a man, not press release. Until then, the answer to your question – Who is cyberbullying who? – is clear. You have been cyberbullying the Orjis, Evulogu, Ikukufied and Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia for three years and some months.
