HON. OBI AGUOCHA, WHERE ARE THE FEDERAL PROJECTS FOR IKWUANO/UMUAHIA?

HON. OBI AGUOCHA, WHERE ARE THE FEDERAL PROJECTS FOR IKWUANO/UMUAHIA?

This is a question many constituents in Ikwuano and Umuahia have continued to ask: Hon. Obi Aguocha, please provide a clear account of the federal projects attracted to our federal constituency.

We want to distinguish between federal projects, state government projects, and bills sponsored or passed into law. All may have their importance, but they are not the same thing. Our concern is to know the tangible federal projects that our people can identify, visit, and benefit from.

The people are becoming more interested in evidence, measurable achievements, and accountability. Discussions surrounding the Nnamdi Kanu case may be important to some constituents, but they do not remove the need to discuss infrastructure, development, and other federal projects in our constituency.

There have also been concerns about political activities, financial inducements, and the role of social gatherings in gaining public support. Rather than rely on assumptions or allegations, we believe political engagement should be judged by transparency, public service, and verifiable results.

Attending burials, child dedications, and other community events can be part of public engagement, but constituents also want to understand what concrete development has followed from their representative’s work.

OUR REQUEST IS STRAIGHTFORWARD:

Hon. Obi Aguocha, please publish a list of the federal projects attracted to Ikwuano/Umuahia, including their locations, funding sources, implementation status, and your documented role in securing them.

The people are not asking for political arguments. They are asking for information that can be independently verified.

Bills are important, but projects matter too. The people deserve to know what has been achieved in their name. Accountability should be welcomed, not avoided.
