Today I celebrate a man whose life is defined by service, loyalty, and love for God his people and Humanity, Comrade Eugene Okonta
A good man is not measured by titles, but by impact. And Comrade Eugene’s impact is felt in the lives he has touched across the Youths of Abia and indeed the Youths of the Catholic Church, Known for his sincerity and grassroots connection, he has consistently stood on the side of justice, equity, and the common man.
Hon. Okonta has spent years advocating for the youths, and the vulnerable. Whether in union halls, Church, community meetings, or quiet personal acts of kindness, his commitment has remained the same: _nobody should be left behind_. His voice has been a voice for those who often go unheard
Beyond politics and activism, he is a brother, a mentor, and a friend to many.
On this your special day, I celebrate you, Comrade. I celebrate your courage, your consistency, and your compassion. May the years ahead bring you more health, joy, peace, and greater platforms to serve Amen.
