Dear Constituents, Democracy is more than a System of Government; It is the Collective Voice of the People, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji

Dear Constituents,

As we celebrate Democracy Day, I extend my warm greetings to the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia, Abians and Nigerians at large. Today, we honor the sacrifices of those who fought for democratic governance and reaffirm our commitment to the principles of freedom, justice, equality, and the rule of law.

Democracy is more than a system of government; it is the collective voice of the people and the foundation upon which we build a prosperous and united society. This day reminds us that our strength lies in our diversity, our resilience, and our shared determination to create a better future for all.

I encourage every citizen to remain steadfast with the administration of the President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and continue participating actively in the democratic process through peaceful engagement, constructive dialogue, and responsible citizenship. Together, we can strengthen our institutions, promote good governance, and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every community.

Happy Democracy Day. May our democracy continue to flourish, and may our nation enjoy lasting peace, unity, and prosperity.

Signed,
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, FNSE, FNICE, FNITHE
