Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba (Ishi Bu Mba) Meets PDP Leaders, Informs them of His Governorship Ambition.
It was a moment of joy and jubilation as a Legal luminary and a compassionate philanthropist, Chief Barr. Olugu Kalu Ugba popularly known as Ishi Bu Mba hosted Chairmen, secretaries, Youth Leaders and women leaders of the peoples Democratic party (PDP) from across the 17 Local government areas yesterday to formally inform them of his 2027 Governorship.
In his speech, the Ohafia born philanthropist/politician reemphasized on the need for members of PDP to come together with one mind and work together as one family.
He made it clear that PDP as a party has all it takes to make a loud statement in 2027 by winning the 2027 Abia Governorship election.
He thanked them for honouring his invitation and promised to always support the party.
Some other speakers who spoke includes representative of body of LGA Chairmen, LGA Secretaries, LGA Youth Leaders and LGA women leaders, they expressed gladness and optimism on Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba whom they described as a faithful party man, having showed and proven loyalty and obedience to the party even in hard times and difficult moments of the party and even when decisions of the party did not favour him.
They promised to make sure that there will be a level playing ground during the primaries.
The meeting also witnessed the presence of the state Deputy chairman of PDP, Hon. Obinna Nwachukwu, State Youth Leader, Comrd. Ugwumba Adiele, State woman leader, former commissioner for works, Honourable Bob Ogu, former commissioner for Education, Chief Ukwu Rocks Emma among other notable leaders.
