BOURDEX TAKES THE MESSAGE OF A NEW ABIA NORTH TO THE GRASSROOTS, BEGINS CAMPAIGN TOUR IN UMUNNEOCHI LGA
…Engages Traditional Rulers, Presidents-General and Other Critical Stakeholders in Ward-to-Ward Campaign and Consultations
The campaign train of Chief Dr David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, OFR,OON, the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Abia North, has taken the message of a new Abia North to the grassroots, commencing its campaign activities in Umunneochi Local Government Area.
The vision of change, transformation and sustainable development in Abia North is a message that must reach every community, ward and people of the Senatorial District. In line with this commitment, Team Bourdex has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts through ward-to-ward campaigns, stakeholder consultations and direct engagements with the people.
The campaign visit to Umunneochi LGA provided an opportunity for the team to interact with traditional rulers, community leaders, Presidents-General and other critical stakeholders, reinforcing the need for inclusive leadership, effective representation and people-oriented development.
Some of the places and groups visited during the campaign tour included:
Isuochi Traditional Rulers: The campaign team engaged traditional rulers from Isuochi at the Ndi-Eze Hall within the Local Government Area.The team also visited the traditional rulers of Umuchieze at Obiulo Lekwesi, the palace of Eze Udeogu.
At Obiulo Lekwesi, the campaign team held consultations with Presidents-General and other influential stakeholders on the vision and development agenda of Chief Bourdex for Abia North.
The grassroots campaign underscores Team Bourdex’s determination to ensure that the message of a new Abia North reaches the people directly, creating opportunities for dialogue, engagement and collective participation in shaping the future of Abia North
With Umunneochi as the starting point, the Bourdex campaign train is set to take this message across Abia North, engaging communities and stakeholders in the collective pursuit of a better future.
