TRUTH WILL PREVAIL: Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji and the March for Unity in Ikwuano/Umuahia
By IKUKU 2027 MANDATE GROUP
The season of politics often brings out the best and the worst in men. In Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, the race for representation has become a test not just of popularity, but of character. As the campaigns gather momentum, it is becoming clear that desperation is beginning to take a toll on some contestants.
Rather than selling their vision to Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia, a few candidates have chosen a different path. They have resorted to smear, gossip, and outright falsehood as their campaign strategy. The target of this orchestrated attack is none other than Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, the APC Candidate for the Federal Constituency.
Information available to the public now shows that the plots are deliberate. The merchants of lies who are behind this campaign of calumny are the same voices that, in previous cycles, spread tales of pre-written results, a cache of gold jewellery, 200 exotic cars, and billions of dollars allegedly discovered in a phantom underground building belonging to the Orji family.
These stories were never founded on fact. They existed only in the imagination of those who profit from chaos. Yet they have been recycled again, because for some politicians, falsehood is easier than performance and propaganda is cheaper than service.
The Ikuku 2027 Mandate Group, after careful monitoring, has uncovered these renewed attempts to malign Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji. The group has therefore called on the good people of Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South to be the judge in this matter. The records are open, the antecedents are known, and the people can tell who has worked and who has only talked.
In the face of these attacks, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has made one thing clear. He will not succumb to lies. He will not be distracted by manufactured scandals. His focus remains fixed on the people and on the task ahead.
That task is a campaign of cohesion, unity, progress and prosperity for Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia. While others are busy trading in rumors, he is talking about roads, healthcare, youth empowerment, support for farmers, and opportunities for women. While others are dividing, he is gathering.
This is the difference between issue-based politics and politics of bitterness. The enemies of progress in our Federal Constituency have chosen to target one man for emasculation because they cannot match his record and they cannot face him on the basis of ideas.
But truth has a way of outliving lies. With time, these merchants of ill fortunes and wickedness shall be exposed. The same people who invent underground buildings and imaginary billions will be known for what they are, people who have nothing to offer except noise.
This is why vigilance is necessary at this time. Part of the plan of these desperate politicians is to create tension and disharmony within our communities. They want to turn brother against brother and community against community, hoping that confusion will give them cover.
That plan will fail. The people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South are wiser than that. We have lived together, traded together, worshipped together, and built together. No amount of sponsored falsehood will break that bond.
The resistance will come from the people themselves. When a politician chooses lies over light, the answer of the people must be unity over division. That is the only way to protect the peace we have worked hard to maintain.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji represents something different. He represents experience, humility, and a commitment to service that puts the people first. He is not seeking office to settle scores. He is seeking office to deliver results.
In him, the yearnings of the Federal Constituency find expression. The yearning for representation that listens. The yearning for a leader who understands the pain of the market woman in Isieke, the student in Umuahia, and the farmer in Ikwuano. The yearning for progress that touches every household.
As we move closer to 2027, let us reject the politics of desperation. Let us embrace the politics of ideas. Let us stand with Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji as he leads the march toward cohesion, unity, progress and prosperity for all Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia. The truth will prevail, and the people will win.
