Arochukwu, Unu emele oooooo!!
Standing here today as your APC candidate for the Abia State House of Assembly, I’m honestly overwhelmed. Honored, humbled, and a little speechless.
This didn’t happen because of me. It happened because of all of you who believed in this vision long before it looked possible. My family, my friends, the elders, the youth, the market women, the people who made calls, said prayers, and stood with me when it mattered. I see you, and I’m grateful.
I want to especially thank my leader and principal, His Excellency Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu. You’ve shown me what it means to lead, to mentor, and to make room for the next generation. I’m grateful for the guidance and for the trust you’ve placed in me over the years.
I also want to recognize and thank Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. Your support, accessibility, and commitment to Abia North have given many of us the courage to step forward. Thank you for always keeping the door open for your people.
To Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, our State Chairman of APC, thank you for providing steady leadership and for ensuring the process was fair and transparent. Your calm guidance made a real difference.
And to my brother, Ikenna Ukwa, APC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency — we’re in this together. I’m looking forward to working side by side with you to deliver for our people. The synergy between our constituencies matters, and I know we’ll make it count.
To the leaders and members of APC in Arochukwu, thank you for keeping our house together. You’re the quiet strength behind the peace and unity we enjoy in our LGA. Arochukwu is blessed with men and women who don’t chase the spotlight but carry the weight of leadership every day. I honor you, and I’m standing on your shoulders.
Through all the meetings, consultations, and late-night conversations, your doors stayed open and your advice was straight. That matters so much, and that’s what leadership looks like.
To my mentors, colleagues, and supporters across Abia and beyond, thank you for lending your voices, your prayers, and your encouragement. It carried me more than you know.
And to the incumbent House member and my fellow aspirant — thank you. Let’s keep putting Arochukwu first.
As we move from consultations into the campaign, I’m keeping one thing front and center: this is about service. About showing up, listening, being accountable, and fighting for the people who trusted you with their mandate.
I’m asking for your support and your prayers, not just for the election, but for the work after. With God’s grace, and with all of us pulling together, we can build an Arochukwu that works for our young people, our traders, our farmers, our families.
Arochukwu, this is our moment. Let’s make it count.
