HON. IBE OKWARA OSONWA SECURES ANOTHER BATCH OF ALL-IN-ONE SOLAR STREET LIGHTS IN AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
In what many constituents have described as a sustained demonstration of effective and people-oriented leadership. The Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has once again delivered on his promise of quality representation by securing a new batch of all-in-one solar street lights to the constituency.
This latest development comes shortly after the lawmaker successfully executed a massive empowerment programme that saw the distribution of numerous items aimed at improving the livelihoods of his constituents. Beneficiaries of that initiative received cars, tricycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, tractors, and several other valuable tools designed to promote economic independence and productivity across the constituency.
Building on that momentum, Hon. Osonwa has secured another batch of the installation of modern solar-powered street lighting systems in several communities. The benefiting communities include Arochukwu, Ututu, Ihechiowa, Abiriba, Ndi Uduma Awoke, and Amankwu. The project is expected to significantly enhance security, improve nighttime visibility, and stimulate social and economic activities within these communities.
Chief John Ukpai Kalu of Amankwu village expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that the introduction of solar street lights will not only reduce the challenges associated with darkness but also contribute to safer streets and extended business hours.
As communities continue to benefit from these interventions, many stakeholders have commended the lawmaker for maintaining a consistent focus on both empowerment and infrastructural development, describing his efforts as a model of responsive and responsible representation.
