MAYOR OF AROCHUKWU, PROF. OKEREKE EZE ARU MOURNS MAZI MATHEW NWANKWO, CONDOLES CHIEF OKAFOR AND ENTIRE NWANKWO’S FAMILY
The Executive Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Prof. Okereke Eze Aru, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Chief Okafor and the entire Nwankwo family on the glorious transition of their beloved father and patriarch, Mazi Mathew Nwankwo, who passed unto glory on April 17th, 2026.
In a condolence message, the Mayor described the death of Mazi Mathew Nwankwo as a painful and irreparable loss, not only to the Nwankwo family but to the entire community.
Mayor Okereke Aru commiserated deeply with the family, noting that the vacuum created by the passing of a father can never be easily filled, but encouraged them to find solace in the worthy legacies, values and memories left behind by their departed patriarch, whose life was a source of strength and inspiration.
He prayed Almighty God to grant the gentle soul of Mazi Mathew Nwankwo eternal rest in His bosom and to grant Chief Okafor, the entire Nwankwo family and all who mourn him the fortitude to bear this great loss.
