Your Sacrifices Have Kept Our Homes, Community Together Says Ikenna Ukwa As He Graces Iyom Amaekpu August Meeting.

IKENNA UKWA GRACES INYOM AMAEKPU AUGUST MEETING CELEBRATION

‎Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the APC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and an illustrious son of Amaekpu Ohafia, graced the invitation of the women of his community during her 2026 August Meeting celebration with the theme,“Widow/Youth Empowerment — Reclaiming the Future.”

Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa who was represented at the event by the Director General of his campaign council, Hon Mba Ukaha thanked the women for the love and support they have continued to show him, assuring them that he would never take the goodwill of his home community for granted.

He urged the women to stand firmly with their son, Ikenna Ukwa who has demonstrated the capacity, competence and commitment needed to provide effective representation. He emphasised that supporting and voting for Ikenna in 2027 would be in the best interest of Amaekpu and the entire Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

“You are our mothers, and your sacrifices have kept our homes and communities together. We will continue to stand with you, and by God’s grace, when given the mandate in 2027, we will have a bigger platform to do even more for our people,” he said.

In support of the women and their activities , Hon. Ikenna Ukwa made a huge cash donation and presented wrappers to the women.

‎‎Responding, the President of Nzuko Iyom Amaekpu, Ezinne Chief Mrs. May A. Nwosu-Mba, thanked Hon. Ikenna Ukwa for always identifying with the women and described him warmly as “our own son in whom we are well pleased.”

She added that Ikenna Ukwa has become a household name in the community for his philanthropic activities.

“Without holding an elected office, he has touched lives through solar powered street lights, free medical outreaches, provision of food items to the women, WAEC, NECO and JAMB registration support, scholarships and several other educational and community interventions. During the ban on commercial motorcycles (Okada), he also provided temporary transportation support to help school children get to and from school, among others,”, she said.

Chief Mrs. Ezinne Udo Uduma, Dr. Lucas Uche Eme, Chief Cliff Obia, Hon. Constable Nnate, Mr. Francis Igwe and Mr. Uchechukwu Ulu, joined the campaign Director General to the event.
