As Christians in Abia State join their counterparts in Nigeria and the world over to celebrate Easter, the Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Prof. Okereke Eze Aru has called on Ndi Arochukwu LGA, Abians and all people of goodwill to continue to support and collaborate with the Dr. Alex Otti- led administration in all her efforts to ensure the sustenance of peace, security and wellbeing of Abia citizens.

The Mayor who stated this in his Easter message to Ndi Arochukwu and Abians, described the Easter season as a good time to nurture our relationship with God and fellow human beings as well as experience the joy and power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The erudite scholar urged Christians and Nigerians at large to believe in Jesus Christ and tap into the power and life which He makes available to us every moment of everyday to continue His mission by sharing His love with others.

He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ holds the message of joy, enduring peace and hope for all and therefore enjoined Christians to embrace peace, unity and good neighborliness and pray for the continue progress and development of Abia State.
