Just In : Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa Welcomes Governor Otti, Deputy, Others As He is Sets for Massive Empowerment of Constituents on April 2nd

HON IBE OKWARA OSONWA FLAGS OFF 2026 EMPOWERMENT, POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAMME IN AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

The Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Ibe Okwara Osonwa will on Thursday April 2 2026 formally flag off his 2026 Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation Programme in Ohafia Abia State.

The event scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Ohafia Local Government Area Secretariat, Ebem Ohafia is part of the lawmaker’s ongoing constituency intervention initiatives targeted at strengthening livelihoods and expanding economic opportunities for constituents.

Governor of Abia State Alex Otti is expected to attend as Special Guest of Honour, while the Deputy Governor, Ikechukwu Emetu will participate as Guest of Honour.

The programme will feature the distribution of a wide range of empowerment items to selected beneficiaries.

These include tricycles (Keke),motorcycles,sewing machines,grinding machines,hairdressing equipment,barbing kits,welding machines and other vocational tools as well as business support packages aimed at boosting small and medium-scale enterprises.

The initiative is consistent with Hon. Osonwa’s legislative priorities on grassroots development and poverty reduction within the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
