ABIA @ 34; Mayor of Arochukwu, Engr. Okereke Eze Aru Felicitates With Dr. Alex Otti, Abians.
The Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Dr. Okereke Eze Aru has on behalf of the government and good people of Arochukwu LGA felicitated with the Executive Governor of Abia Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti and Abians on the occasion of celebration of Abia @34. The Mayor join His Excellency and other well-meaning Abians both at home and in the diaspora to celebrate the 34th year Anniversary of our dear state – Gods own state.
In a statement made available to the press, the Mayor thanked God Almighty for keeping Abians as one irrespective of our political differences.
It is exactly 34 years since the creation of our dear state from Imo state. As a state, we have had our own ups and downs but our progress level has been very impressive. The Governor Otti`s administration in the last 2 years has added a greater value to our pride as a state. The last two years of the administration of Governor Otti has taken Abia to the global stage with his massive developmental strides.
The relative peace and adequate security we have been enjoying since your administration started is a thing of joy and must be commended by all. kudos Your Excellency.
As we journey on, I pray that together, we shall continue to grow our dear state and her people to greater heights through good governance and the rule of law.
