Rep Ibe Okwara Osonwa Tasks Constituents on Voter Registration

The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has called on his constituents to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Rep Osonwa, in a statement, described voter registration as the gateway to good governance and urged eligible voters in Arochukwu and Ohafia to ensure they get registered and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

“Democracy works best when the people take part in the process. The first step is to register and obtain your PVC. Without it, you cannot vote, and without voting, you cannot decide who governs you,” he said.

The lawmaker further appealed to community leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders in the constituency to mobilise residents to participate fully in the exercise.

“Our future and the future of our children depend on the decisions we make at the ballot box. I encourage everyone to take this civic duty seriously,” Osonwa added.

He also assured his constituents of his continued commitment to quality representation at the National Assembly, promising to sustain initiatives that will bring development and progress to the constituency.
