World Malaria Day: Mayor of Arochukwu Admonishes Citizens To Be Ware of Mosquito, Always Clean Their Environment.

The Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Dr. Engr. Chibuike Eze Aru has Admonished Citizens to always be ware of mosquito and imbibe the spirit of keeping the environment clean to avoid Malaria and other diseases .

Speaking today at Atani Arochukwu Civic hall during the kickoff of the world Malaria Day Commemoration and sensitization organized by the PanAfricare in collaboration with the Abia State ministry of health, the Mayor encouraged the people to always sleep with treated nets, try and go for medical checks when ever they notice any sign or symptoms of Malaria and to take make sure they take their drugs as directed by doctors especially now that the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti has made drugs available in various health centers in the state.
He used the opportunity to eulogized the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti who has taken the health of Abians as his top most priority just as he has partnered with PanAfricare.
The Mayor thanked the Governor for making sure that drugs were distributed in all the healthcare centers in Arochukwu LGA as drugs have already been distributed in all the healthcare centers. He advised the people to make good use this golden opportunity provided by the Governor.
He thanked the PanAfricare group for coming to Arochukwu and asked them not to relent in their efforts.

In his vote of thanks, the Eze Ogo of Atani Arochukwu, Eze Charles Kanu expressed satisfaction and appreciated the Governor, Mayor of Arochukwu and the PanAfricare group for coming to Arochukwu LGA.
The event witnessd the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Arochukwu, Ndi Eze Ogo’s Councilors, Supervisors and community Leaders.
