As the World welcomes the month of August 2026, A renowned legal luminary, Business Mogul and community leader, Chief Barr. Olugu Kalu Ugba, has sent a goodwill message to the good people of Abia State, praying for peace, prosperity and divine blessings upon every household.
In his August message made available to newsmen, Chief Ugba popularly known as Ishi Bu Mba expressed gratitude to God for His mercies and protection over Abians in the first seven months of the year.
August is a month of new beginnings and abundant harvest. I thank God Almighty for keeping us and for the progress we have continued to record as a people. I therefore pray that this new month will bring good health, joy, open doors and uncommon favor to every Abian, both at home and in the diaspora, he said.
He further called on citizens to embrace peace, unity and hard work as the state moves into the electioneering campaign period, stressing that collective effort is needed to build the Abia and Nigeria of our collective dream.
To our farmers, civil servants, traders, artisans, students and entrepreneurs, I pray that August will mark a turning point for you. May God bless your businesses, crown your efforts with success, and grant you peace in your homes and communities, he added.
