MAYOR OF AROCHUKWU LGA, PROF. CHIBUIKE EZE ARU VISITS ABIA TECHRISE COHORT 3 PARTICIPANTS, ENCOURAGED THEM TO PRIORITIZE THE OPPORTUNITY.
The Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area Engr. Prof. Chibuike Eze Aru has paid a visit to Abia TechRise Cohort 3 Participants and encouraged them to prioritize this opportunity. He advised participants to be of good conducts.
The Abia TechRise Cohort 3 Programme commenced in May 2026 with 850 successful participants drawn from across the state’s 17 local government areas.
Currently, participants are receiving first hand training in emerging technology fields such as
Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Python programming, Product Management, Full-Stack Web and Mobile Application Development, Cybersecurity, UI/UX Design and Digital Arts.
Speaking During the visit, the Mayor said;
as a professional in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and related fields, I reaffirm to you all the Governor’s Commitment to Youth Digital Empowerment”. He further explained the growing collaboration between Abia State Government and Local Governments in advancing innovation, digital transformation and youth development. The techrise program, according to the Mayor is re-inforcing the shared vision of building a generation of technologically empowered young people capable of driving economic growth and positioning Abia as a leading hub for digital innovation in Nigeria.
