The ECHEE-EMEE Age Grade of Igbere has unanimously endorsed the aspiration of Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji) to represent the people of Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement, described as a significant milestone in Anyaso’s political journey, reflects the confidence reposed in him by his age grade members—individuals who have known him since childhood and shared formative experiences within the Igbere community.
Speaking after receiving the endorsement, Anyaso expressed profound appreciation for the gesture, describing it as one of the most meaningful forms of support he could receive.
According to him, the Igbo Age Grade System is a lifelong institution that symbolizes identity, responsibility and community service, making the endorsement particularly special because it comes from people who have witnessed his growth and can attest to his character.
Beyond offering prayers and moral support, the ECHEE-EMEE Age Grade also pledged to dedicate its time, energy and resources towards ensuring the success of his 2027 aspiration.
The event was further highlighted by the presence of the President General of Igbere, who joined members of the age grade during the endorsement visit, underscoring the unity and solidarity within the community.
Reaffirming his commitment to integrity and service, Anyaso said he has remained true to his roots and values throughout his life, adding that his childhood peers can testify to his consistency and character.
He concluded by expressing optimism about the journey ahead, assuring supporters that, with God’s grace, they would work together to make the people of Bende Federal Constituency proud.
