2027: IS CHIEF IKE OKORAFOR THE MESSIAH TO COME ?
Whoever have a problem of inferiority and intolerance will not like this .he or she might insult me or feel insulted by my unbiased presentation on this great son of Abam.
In any case, Insults mean nothing to me. They only fuel my resolve and strengthen my determination. They are like water off a duck’s back and neither can they deter me from speaking my mind on any pressing or burning issue no matter how unpopular my position may be.
Those that do not have the prescence of mind or the discipline to read beyond three lines, see beyond thier nose or that are so filled with hate and blighted by ignorance to the extent that it has beclouded their better judgement should not bother attempting to read this contribution.
For those that are interested in knowing the truth and in actually learning something about a man that was as maligned, misrepresented and misunderstood as I have been over the years should please go ahead and do me the honor of reading it. Whichever way it takes absolutely nothing from me.
Yesterday my leader, my friend and brother chief Ike Okorafor, Paid a consultative visit to the National Executive of rainbow coalition.
It was a moment of joy and fulfillment to the Arochukwu LGA, it was particularly so since he is the only one who has openly consulted his constituency to inform them of his ambition .
I am not in Chief Ike Okorafor campaign team neither am I speaking as a party faithful but I commend him for having the courage to aspire to be Arochukwu LGA house member come 2027,
His ambition stands him out from other Abam politicians of the APC, LP and PDP extraction.
When the facts of history are written he will go down as a man of great courage who did not run away or maintain a conspiratorial silence when it was the right time to redeem his people . the prayers of the Abam people are with him because he carries the collective burden and aspiration of a people so traumatised by the fear of neglect, political subjugation and ethnic domination.
All my sojourn in the murky water of politics I have never seen a politician which has traversed the length and breath of Abia state with a documented road map to peace, unity and development of Abam like him.
His level of humility,courage and inexplicable love for his constituency and Abians at large still remains a mystery for students of contemporary politics in our modern Democratic dispensation.
Chief Ike Okorafor is an Abam man from Ozo Abam who has the courage and conviction to say that he wants to be house member for now . Why would we not stand with him, encourage him and give him our support
We come from completely different backgrounds and we may not agree on everything but we have a similar disposition and we share the same perspective on most things.
Like most politicians of our time , He is not bound up in fear and he is not chained down by political correctness.
With humility he speaks the raw and bitter truth and he stands up for the weak, the vulnerable and the defenceless.
Like me, he moves in the prophetic and his source of strength is the spirit and power of God.
We both love God and we are both men of strength, courage, faith and destiny.
The spirit of David and Jehu runs through us both. We neither fear death, disappointment incarceration nor bow down to the enemy and we hate injustice, evil and oppression.
I am very proud of him and I never desert or abandon my friends. He is and will always be my friend , leader and brother. How many politicians of Arochukwu LGA from either APC, LP or PDP have the guts to dare aspire as it were today. am not talking of pretenders am talking of contestants.
A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus..
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter because the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
We must give up the silly idea of folding our hands and waiting on God to do everything for us. If God had intended for that, then he would not have given us a mind. Whatever you want in life, you must make up your mind to do it for yourself.
In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends and those who were suppose to show the way
Chief Ike Okorafor is a man of destiny, he is the most sought after politician in Arochukwu state constituency as it is today, he is humble, accessible and gentle, he is the only man from Abam in the contest who represent, respect, listen, assist and carry our collective burden and aspiration as at today .
The two greatest virtues are courage and loyalty. If you have them you are everything.If you lack them you are nothing.
As we journey towards 2027 may God give him more courage, character and style. ijn
