Arochukwu APC Concerned Youths Condemn Hon. Emeka Bonny’s Anti-Party Conduct;
Calls for Immediate Cessation of Divisive Campaign Against Our Flag Bearer
It has come to the urgent attention of the Arochukwu APC Concerned Youths that Hon. Emeka Bonny, popularly known as “De Laz,” has embarked on a reckless and deeply troubling campaign of falsehoods and spite following his defeat in the recently concluded APC House of Assembly primaries for the Arochukwu State Constituency.
Rather than conducting himself with the dignity expected of a party member and a son of Arochukwu, Hon. Emeka Bonny has chosen the path of bitterness — spreading dangerous misinformation, making unprovoked derogatory attacks on our validly elected flag bearer, Prince Ike Okoroafor, and undermining the very party whose platform he sought to benefit from.
Let the record be clear: the APC primaries were conducted in a free, fair, and fully transparent manner, witnessed by party officials, delegates, and observers — including Hon. Emeka Bonny himself. Prince Ike Okoroafor won decisively with over 5,000 votes. These are not figures that can be disputed by any man of integrity who was present.
It is therefore both shameful and politically reckless that Hon. Emeka Bonny — a man who stood as a beneficiary of this same party structure — now turns around to attack the outcome he personally witnessed. His conduct raises serious questions about his commitment to the APC, his respect for due process, and his fitness to be regarded as a credible voice within our party.
We wish to remind Hon. Emeka Bonny that sore-loser politics have no place in a party built on unity and progress. His continued attacks are not only an insult to Prince Ike Okoroafor, our duly elected flag bearer, but a direct act of sabotage against the APC and the good people of Arochukwu LGA who participated in and endorsed this process.
We call on relevant APC stakeholders, party leadership at the LGA and state levels, and all respected chieftains to take immediate disciplinary steps to call Hon. Emeka Bonny to order before his anti-party activities cause irreparable damage to our chances in the 2027 general elections.
Prince Ike Okoroafor has demonstrated the character, credibility, and community trust that Arochukwu deserves in the Abia State House of Assembly. We congratulate him unreservedly and stand firmly behind his candidacy.
To Hon. Emeka Bonny, we say this plainly: your grievance is not with the party — it is with the verdict of the people. And that verdict stands.
Signed:
Arochukwu APC Concerned Youths
For a United APC. For a Better Arochukwu.
