2027: Mass Exodus Hit YPP As Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia, Others Sets To Resign From the Party.

Ahead of 2027 general election, multiple defections is about to hit the Young Progressive party in Abia State as Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia, the party’s House of Representatives candidates for the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election and the Ohafia North House of Assembly candidate, Dr. Oge Okpan are sets to dump the Party any moment from now.

Easterntruth gathered that the defection is as a result of the internal crisis that have bedevilled the party, betrayals and nonchalant attitudes of some of the leaders of the party that has been hindering the progress of the party.

They stated that the party can no longer be suitable for them to drive their political ambitions.

Our correspondents also learned that at the moment many members, ward chairmen in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency has officially resign, preparing the way for their Leader Dr. Stephen Ukpai Ohafia.
