Breaking: APC Reaffirms The Suspension Of Uche Ogah, Endorsed Rt. Hon. Donatus Nwankpa for the Position National Welfare Officer
Abia State Chapter of the All progressives Congress has reaffirmed Her stand on the existing suspension of Dr.Uche Samson Ogah from the party.
The party who spoke on Monday through their State legal adviser ,Virgilus Nwankwo during an emergency meeting of the 17 local government Areas Chairman and the State Working Committee added that Ogah according to APC constitution remains suspended even from his polling unit and Ward following his previous anti-party activities which led to his suspension in 2022.
The Legal Adviser maintained that Ogah remains suspended as his open declaration of support to Abia State governor Alex Otti on Saturday was done on individual basis and not a party Stakeholder as he present himself because the party is yet to ratify his suspension.
Also, the party during the meeting endorsed Rt. Hon. Donatus Nwankpa for the position of National Welfare Officer of APC in the upcoming National Convention that will take place in Abuja later this month.
Chief Chinedu Ihiesulo, deputy Chairman of APC amongst others were present at the emergency State working committee and the 17 LGA Chairman meeting at the Party’s Secretariat in Umuahia.
