Abia APC Elects Hon. Chijioke Chukwu as Chairman, Chidi Avoaja, Secretary, Uche Aguoru, Publicity Secretary.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has elected Hon. Chijioke Chukwu as the State Chairman of the party in a congress widely adjudged by members and stakeholders as peaceful, well-organised, and rancour-free.

The congress, conducted under a consensus arrangement, produced Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, a former Minority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, as the new State Chairman. Chidi Avoaja emerged as State Secretary, while Uche Aguoru was elected Publicity Secretary. Chief Eric Ikwuagwu was elected Deputy Publicity Secretary, alongside other members of the newly constituted State Executive Committee.
Party faithful and delegates at the congress unanimously affirmed the consensus arrangement, paving the way for a smooth and hitch-free exercise that reflected unity and cohesion within the party.
The newly elected executives are expected to steer the affairs of the party in the state and strengthen its structures ahead of future political engagements.
Highlight of the event was a resounding show of loyalty and unwavering support for the new leadership by Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu, who donated three brand new buses to enhance the party’s operations and boost its grassroots mobilization drive across the state.
