ASA GROUP APC YOUTHS CONDEMN THE ATTACK AND EMBARRASSMENT ON THEIR SON AND LEADER OF APC IN UKWA WEST,CHIEF ERUBA DIMGBA BY DON UBANI
OUR attention have been drawn to an unwarranted and unprovoked public ridicule, disrespect and embarrassment against our performing leader and the Honourable Commissioner representing Abia State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC),Chief Engr.Eruba Dimgba by Chief Don Ubani during an APC stakeholders meeting held recently at the residence of the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives,Rt.Hon.Benjamin Kalu; PhD in Bende Local Government Area of the State and we therefore, state as follows;
1.That the unwarranted attack and irresponsible act exhibited by Chief Don Ubani against our leader and respected son,Chief Eruba Dimgba in far away Bende Local Government Area was indecorous and unbecoming of an elder who ordinarily, should be playing a fatherly role following his age and many years of service in government.
2.That Chief Don Ubani should not be addressing himself as an APC stakeholder having joined the APC recently and has not held any political office under the platform of APC before now
3.That we caution Don Ubani to refrain from publicly disparaging our respected leader and son,Chief Eruba Dimgba as any further attempt to embarrass him will not be tolerated..
4.That we have also noted the serial threats to life against our leader and son, Chief Eruba Dimgba by Chief Don Ubani and his co-travellers and we wish to state that if anything happens to our son,Chief Eruba Dimgba from now henceforth, that Chief Don Ubani would be held solely responsible..
5.That there has never been any time, Chief Eruba Dimgba has written and submitted any congress list and has never discussed it with any stakeholder,not even Chief Don Ubani and therefore,the unwarranted attack against Chief Eruba Dimgba was uncalled for and an we demand that he tenders an unreserved apology to Chief Eruba Dimgba for accusing him falsely.
6.That we wish to inform the public that Chief Eruba Dimgba has never declared his intention to any group or stakeholders to run for House of Representatives but that it was this same Chief Don Ubani and his co-travellers that came to Chief Eruba Dimgba to persuade and convince him to run for Federal House of Representatives but Chief Eruba Dimgba in his wisdom, had clearly told them that the decision of who will represent Ukwa Federal Constituency in 2027 would be determined solely by the party..
7.That our illustrious son,Chief Eruba Dimgba has never insulted nor maligned Chief Don Ubani before and therefore,does not deserve the kind of embarrassment borne out of sadism and hatred meted out against him by a man who is seeking for cheap recognition and means of survival..
8.That Asa group APC youths wish to advise the leadership of the party to respect and adhere to the zoning system in Ukwa West and Ukwa East Federal Constituency to avoid bringing disunity and anarchy amongst the two Local Government Areas..
9.That we are aware of Chief Don Ubani’s antics which is propaganda and blackmail and we wish to warn him to desist from making further uncomplimentary remarks against our leader, Chief Eruba Dimgba as any further attempt to bring his image to public ridicule would be thoroughly resisted..
10.That we urge the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives,Rt.Hon.Benjamin Kalu; PhD to use his position to promote peace, equity and justice in Ukwa Federal Constituency rather than encouraging inequality and disunity in the area.
