Former leader of the Arochukwu legislative council and PDP House of Assembly candidate for Arochukwu State Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Austin Emeka Bonny popularly known as De Lazz has with deep sorrow but in total submission to the will of God announced the passing in to glory of the matriarch of Bonny family, Mrs. Mercillina O. E. Bonny.

According to a release from the son, Hon. Emeka Bonny, the burial arrangements will be communicated to the public soon.
