ANNOUNCEMENT, EMPOWERMENT AND POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAMME

The Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, will soon launch an Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation Programme aimed at supporting vulnerable households, expanding income opportunities, and delivering direct economic support to constituents.

The programme builds on several initiatives already implemented across the constituency, ICT training and empowerment, teacher digital reskilling programmes, widow and women-focused economic support schemes, and educational scholarships for students.

These interventions form part of a broader commitment to human capital development, equipping constituents with the skills, resources, and financial support required to improve household stability and earning capacity.

The empowerment programme complements ongoing efforts toward larger-scale development and infrastructure opportunities, reflecting a balanced approach to both immediate economic support and long-term growth.
