Be Agents of Unity and Development of Ala Igbo, Mayor of Arochukwu LGA Charges Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo.
The Executive Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Dr. Okereke Eze Aru has admonished the new leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Arochukwu LGA Chapter to be good ambassadors of Igbo land by promoting peace and unity of Igbo land for the well-being and development of Igbo land.
Speaking during the inauguration of the new Executive of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Arochukwu LGA Chapter, The Mayor reiterated that development of Ala Igbo can only be achieved when the leadership of Ohanaeze work in unity and in one accord with government, make meaningful contributions, support government in all ramifications. He Congratulated the newly inaugurated leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in Arochukwu LGA led by Chief John Jacob Okoro popularly known as JJO.
The Mayor promised to work together with the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in Arochukwu Local Government Area to actualize the dreams and vision of the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti who has been working tirelessly for the development and emancipation of Igbo land.
The inauguration was attended by the State chairman of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Mazi C. C. Okwuonu and his Executive members among others.
