MAYOR OF AROCHUKWU LGA FELICITATES WITH THE PEOPLE OF AROCHUKWU, ABIANS ON INDEPENDENCE DAY ANNIVERSARY

As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Day anniversary, the Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Engr. Dr. Okereke Eze Aru, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Arochukwu and Abians at large.

In a statement issued on the occasion of the Independence Day celebration, the Mayor commended the resilience, courage, and determination of Nigerians, particularly the people of Arochukwu and Abia State.

today, we are celebrating our nation’s independence, won 65 years ago. As we mark this significant milestone, we reflect on our journey as a people and the progress we have made so far, the Mayor stated.

The Mayor also acknowledged the contributions of Nigeria’s founding fathers, who fought tirelessly for the country’s independence. He encouraged the people of Arochukwu and Abia State to continue striving for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.

As we celebrate our independence, let us not forget the sacrifices of our heroes past. Let us continue to work together towards a brighter future for ourselves, our children, and generations yet unborn, the Mayor added.

The Mayor concluded by wishing the people of Arochukwu, Abians, and all Nigerians a happy Independence Day Celebration.
