Abia Airport Project: Government Sets Timetable For Signing of Certificate of Indemnity by the Host Communities

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The State Government has released the timetable for signing of certificates of indemnity by the host communities of the Abia Airport Nsulu.

A release endorsed by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands and Housing and coordinator of Abia Airport Nsulu, Pastor Okorougo Aji, says Thursday (19/06), is for Umuezenta and Umunkolo, Friday (20/06,) Umulenwa and Okpuala while Umuala, Umulenwa and Okpuala will take their turn on (23/06) Monday next week.

According to the release, Tuesday (24/06), Umuezenta and Umunkolo, Wednesday (25/06), Umuala, Thursday (26/06), Umulenwa and Okpuala while Friday (27/06), Umuezenta and Umunkolo will take their turn.

The release requests all land owners to come with a valid means of identification including National Identity Number NIN, Driver’s License or Voter’s Card and passport photograph while those with multiple claims are directed to come with the corresponding number of passport photographs.

It further states that anyone who refuses to come and sign his or her idenmity certificates has donated the land to government whereas those who miss out on their designated days are free to come on other days.

According to the release, venue is the Ministry of Lands and Housing, State Secretariat Umuahia while time is 9 O’clock daily.
