Arochukwu Community Hails Rep Ibe Okwara Osonwa For Solar-Powered Borehole Project

The people of Ebem Umuye in Ihechiowa, Ikwun Ward, Arochukwu Local Government Area, have expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, for the successful drilling and installation of an all-in-one solar-powered borehole in their community.
In a heartfelt letter of appreciation signed by Comrade Udoka C. Nnanna, President General of Ebem Umuye Development Union, and Engr. Kalu Okoroafor Kalu, Secretary, the community described the project as a “symbol of hope” that has addressed the long-standing water scarcity in the area.

“This unprecedented gesture will no doubt solve the lingering challenge of water faced by the community,” the letter read.
“Many governments have come and gone with empty promises, but Hon. Osonwa has proven to be a man of integrity and action.”
The community praised Hon. Osonwa’s commitment to grassroots development and described the project not just as infrastructure, but as a testament to what can be achieved through unity and purposeful leadership.
“We are solidly behind you in all your political endeavours,” the letter continued, adding that the borehole serves as evidence that the people of Ebem Umuye and Ikwun Ward deserve clean, accessible water.
The letter also emphasised hope for continued collaboration between the community and Hon. Osonwa to enhance access to essential social amenities.
“May the good Lord continue to bless, protect, provide, promote and defend you and your family in all ramifications,” the letter concluded.
