Eid al-Adha: Senator Austin Akobundu Salutes Muslim Ummah

The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Austin Akobundu has sent greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Abia Central Senatorial District and Nigeria as a whole on the occasion of the Eid -al-Adha festivities.

In his message, Akobundu urged Muslims to continue to be inspired by the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, peace, and compassion that characterise the occasion.

“As our Muslim Ummah in Abia Central in particular and Nigeria as a whole join their counterparts from all over the world to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, I heartily felicitate with them and pray that this celebration will continue to inspire us with its lessons of sacrifice, obedience, peace, compassion, charity, generousity and harmonious living. And may it bring us peace, joy, and prosperity.

“Eid Mubarak,” the message concluded.
