Jubilation as Hon. Ibe Brings Solar-Powered Water to Ugwuakuma, Arochukwu
The community of Ugwuakuma in Arochukwu, Abia State, is celebrating the commencement of a much-needed solar-powered water project spearheaded by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa. For years, feeling neglected, the residents greeted the news of the borehole drilling and installation with immense joy, echoing the relief felt in Umuye Ihechiowa where a similar project was completed.
An elder from the community voiced the collective sentiment, stating, “For so many years, we have felt abandoned. This borehole is not just water; it’s a lifeline, a sign that we are not forgotten.”
Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa Represented by his aide, Mazi Eberechukwu, at the groundbreaking ceremony, highlighted his dedication to addressing the fundamental needs of his constituents. “Access to clean water is a basic human right,” he asserted. “It is unacceptable that any community within my constituency should suffer from such a fundamental lack. This project is a testament to our dedication to ensuring that every citizen has access to the essentials for a dignified life.”
