Mayor of Arochukwu, Dr. Chibuike Eze Aru commended for the successful conclusion of Eye screening program.
Residents of Arochukwu Local Government Area has poured Praises on the Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Hon. Dr. Chibuike Eze Aru on the just concluded Free Eye screening program that took place in 3 different clans of Arochukwu LGA between 12th and 14th March 2025.
Speaking to Easterntruth in Ihechiowa, Arochukwu, and Abam, Chief Kalu Onwuchekwa, Mrs. Ifeoma Okoro, Mr. Kelechi Nwankwo among others expressed satisfaction with the way the free eye Screening program on Glaucoma was done peacefully and successful without any rancour.
They commended the Mayor for embarking on such life saving program that has given them the opportunity to be treated free of charge.
Contributing also, one of the Youths of Arochukwu Kingdom, Mr Ndubuisi Okereke eulogized the executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti for creating the enablement for the Mayor of Arochukwu to be able to be doing what he has been doing since his assumption in office unlike what it used to be before now during previous administrations.
He however commended the Mayor for all his good work ranging from grading of roads, building of markets, motor parks, ICT Training Center, medical outreaches among others.
