Rep. Ibe Okwara Osonwa Has Performed Beyond Expectations — Constituents Hail Lawmaker For Installing Solar Lights In Markets

 

Constituents of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency have commended the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, for installing solar-powered streetlights in major markets, a move they say has enhanced security and boosted economic activities across the constituency.

 

Women, youths, and traders in Nkporo, Abiriba, and Ohafia communities, as well as various wards in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, praised the initiative, expressing their appreciation for the lawmaker’s commitment to community development.

 

Our correspondent reports that the benefiting communities include Ndi Agbo Market, Amurie Market (Afia Eke) – Ndi Elu Ward, Afia Orieakwa Abiriba, Afia Nkwo Abiriba, Afia Amogudu Abiriba, Amabelu Daily Market, Amaeke Abiriba, Afia Ogwuma Elu Ohafia, Afia Afor Asaga Ohafia, and Afia Ebem Ohafia.

 

Mrs. Mary Kalu, a trader, lauded the project, saying: “Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa has truly exceeded our expectations. The solar lights have made our markets safer at night, and now we can sell for longer hours without fear of thieves or hoodlums.”

 

Prince Kalu Agwu, a community leader, emphasized the impact on security, stating: “Before now, our markets were in darkness once the sun went down, making them unsafe. With these new solar lights, people feel more secure, and the markets are now active even in the evening. This is a great achievement by our representative.”

 

Mrs. Felicia Ndukwe, a businesswoman, highlighted the economic benefits: “These lights have changed everything for us. Customers now feel comfortable at night, and our businesses are thriving. We are grateful to Hon. Ibe for this thoughtful intervention.”

 

Mrs. Afor Okwara, a farmer, acknowledged the impact: “This is leadership in action. Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is proving that he listens to the people and delivers solutions that improve our daily lives. This project has brought light, safety, and prosperity to our communities.”
