ICT, Agric Training, Digital Education, Other Empowerment By Rep Ibe Okwara Osonwa Best Form of Youth Devt — LP Chieftain
A chieftain of the Labour Party, Hon. Kalu Eni, has commended the ongoing empowerment initiatives facilitated by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, describing them as the best approach to youth development.
According to Ukiwe, “The investment in ICT training, agriculture, and the provision of laptops, among other empowerment programmes by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, is a game-changer. This is the kind of visionary leadership our youths need to secure a brighter future.”
He further stated, “Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, in his manifesto, promised to develop our youth with good skills and sustainable human capital development instead of handouts. He is demonstrating it by fulfilling his campaign promises.”
Ukiwe emphasised that such initiatives equip young people with practical skills, making them self-reliant and positioning them for opportunities in the global economy.
“The equipping of Ofali Agwu School with tech-enabled education is a game-changer. Don’t forget the empowerment of our young people and businesses women with agribusiness skills, the ongoing scholarship and free JAMB initiative for students of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, ICT training and distribution of HP laptops to our youths, and many more.”
He urged other leaders to emulate Rep. Osonwa’s commitment to human capital development, noting that empowerment through knowledge and technology is the most sustainable way to reduce unemployment and poverty.
