Mayor Of Arochukwu, Dr Chibuike Eze Aru Commends Governor Otti For Initiating Impactful Projects In Arochukwu LGA.
The Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Dr. Chibuike Okereke Eze Aru, has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for initiating the reconstruction of Omenuko Bridge, The Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Highway, critical projects that will benefit not only the people of Arochukwu but also Abia State and Nigeria as a whole.
Speaking to Easterntruth at his office in Arochukwu, the Mayor stated that
this move is seen by the good people of Arochukwu LGA as a significant step towards easing the burden faced by the people and creating economic advancement opportunities within the communities of Arochukwu, Abia North Senatorial District.
The Mayor maintained that with these numerous life -Changing projects that the Governor has embarked in Arochukwu LGA and the state at larg, he has proven that truly he came prepared and to serve the people of Abia State with the fear of God.
He wondered why anyone will be thinking of dislodging the Governor come 2027 having seen what he has achieved for the state so far. He therefore encouraged the Governor to focus on his developmental initiatives and not to allow himself to be distracted by those that used 24 years to destroy Abia State.
It will be recalled that Governor Otti early this year flagged off the reconstruction of the Ohafia-Arochukwu highway, a 41.4-kilometer federal highway that has been abandoned for decades and the Reconstruction of the Omenuko Bridge, Ozu Abam and these project aligns with the governor’s campaign promise of improving the lives of Abians and creating new pathways of opportunities for individuals and companies .
