Senator Austin Akobundu Felicitates Dr Eme Okoro at 80
The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Austin Akobundu has described a former Secretary to Abia State Government (SSG), Chief Dr Emelike Godwill Okoro as a man of many parts whose contributions to the development of the state over the years are invaluable.
The Senator stated this in his birthday message to Dr Eme Okoro on the occasion of his 80th birthday on Sunday, 16th February, 2025.
In the message, Akobundu further extolled the virtues of the celebrant as an erudite scholar, versatile agriculturalist, astute politician, exemplary statesman and established administrator who has continued to inspire the younger generation to greatness and commitment to the virtues of hardwork, honesty and patriotism. He recalled how Dr Okoro brought expertise and finesse to the office of the SSG and laid a solid foundation for the office, a virtue he brings to everywhere he worked.
While wishing Chief Dr Eme Okoro a happy 80th birthday, Senator Akobundu prayed God to continue to grant him life in good health and happiness.
