Just In: See Main Reason House Of Assembly Declared Minority Leader’s Sit Vacant.

Zamfara Assembly Declares the seat of Minority Leader Hon. Aliyu Ango Kagara Vacant for attending only 21 out of 180 sitting days, a clear violation of the Nigerian Constitution and the Assembly’s standing rules, which require lawmakers to participate consistently in legislative proceedings.

Easterntruth gathered that the minority Leader has not been attending plenary in recent times and didn’t give any cognisant reason as the reason why he has not been attending sittings. As of the time of filling this report, we were unable to get to the minority Leader to hear his own side of the story and to know the step he will take.
