The Executive Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Dr. Chibuike Eze Aru has installed computers in some of the major offices of the council for easy operations.

He has also commenced the massive training of the staff of the LGA on the use of the computers to ease their job.

It will be recalled that the mayor, on assumption of office noticed that almost all the staff of the LGA were not ICT compliant and as a result of it, operations were not moving well in the council headquarters as every staff always go outside the council for their ICT related activities.

The staff of the LGA were thrown into joy on Monday when they saw a team of computer professionals that came to train them on the use of the computers.

 

Speaking on the development, the Mayor, Dr. Chibuike Eze Aru stated that the development is in line with the innovative agenda of the Governor Otti led administration in making sure that every sector of Abia State economy is digitalized and if not all, majority of our workers will be computer literate.

 

The Mayor reemphasized his administration’s readiness in bringing development to the council and more dividends of democracy to the g rassroot.
