MAYOR OF AROCHUKWU LGA, PROF. OKEREKE EZE ARU CONGRATULATES UMU ARO OKIGBO ON SUCCESSFUL IKEJI FESTIVAL

The Executive Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Prof. Okereke Eze Aru, warmly congratulates Umu Aro Okigbo on the successful celebration of their Ikeji Festival.

The Mayor also commends His Eminence, Dr. Eze Eberechukwu Orji, the Eze Aro of Arochukwu Ancient Kingdom, for his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to upholding, preserving and promoting the rich traditional and cultural heritage of Arochukwu Kingdom.

The Mayor Engr. Prof. Eze Aru recognizes the Ikeji Festival as an important expression of the people’s history, customs identity, and cultural values, while fostering unity and strengthening communal bonds in Arochukwu.

He commends the traditional institution, organizers, community leaders, and the entire people of Umu Aro Okigbo for the successful celebration.

Prof. Eze Aru further called for sustained and collective efforts toward preserving and promoting the rich traditions, cultural heritage, and historical identity across all clans in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

The Mayor emphasized that Arochukwu Local Government Area’s customs, traditions, festivals, and cultural heritage remain important components of the people’s identity and should be carefully preserved and passed on to future generations.
