INEC PUBLISHES TABITHA AS ADC CANDIDATE FOR AROCHUKWU CONSTITUENCY

Umuahia, Abia State — The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the name and credentials of Mrs Francess Olisa Ogbonnaya (TABITHA) as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Arochukwu State Constituency in the February 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election.

The publication has further affirmed Tabitha’s candidacy ahead of the forthcoming election, positioning the journalist and advocate for good governance as the ADC’s candidate for the Arochukwu Constituency.

Tabitha’s emergence has continued to generate excitement and renewed hope among women, youths and other stakeholders in Arochukwu Constituency, with supporters describing her as a refreshing alternative and a strong voice for effective representation.

Her supporters say her background in journalism, public advocacy and community-oriented engagement has strengthened confidence in her capacity to provide responsible, responsive and people-focused representation.

Across the constituency, from Abam to Isu down to Ututu, women and youths have continued to rally behind her candidacy, expressing optimism that her emergence could usher in a new era of inclusive leadership, equitable representation and meaningful development.

This publication by INEC is also expected to lay to rest the arguments in some certain quarters about who the candidate of the ADC for the Arochukwu state constituency is.
