PDP BOT CHAIRMAN, SENATOR MAO OHUABUNWA MOURNS PASSING OF CHIEF DAN ORBIH, DESCRIBES HIM AS A LOYAL PARTY MAN AND TRUE BROTHER

The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, PhD, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Dan Orbih, the South South Zonal Vice Chairman of the party and a member of the PDP Board of Trustees.

In a statement signed by Senator Ohuabunwa, he described the late Chief Orbih as a committed party man who lived true to his convictions and stood firmly for the ideals of the PDP at all times.

“My heart is heavy over the passing of Chief Dan Orbih,” Ohuabunwa said.
“He was a man who lived true to himself and his convictions in all he did. He was gentle and calm, yet firm. I will miss not just a good party man but a brother and friend.”

The BOT Chairman noted that Chief Orbih’s contributions to the growth and stability of the PDP, particularly in the South zone, will be remembered. He described the deceased as a bridge-builder and a loyal stalwart who gave his best to the party.

Senator Ohuabunwa extended his condolences to the immediate family, relatives, the PDP South Zonal Executive, and the entire PDP family, praying for God’s comfort and strength during this difficult period.

“My prayers are with his family and relatives at this difficult time. May his soul rest peacefully,” he concluded.
