2027: Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba Declares His Ambition As He Hosts PDP Faithfuls in Okamu Ward.

It is on this premise that a business mogul, a passionate philanthropist, a Legal luminary and former Deputy Chief of Staff to the former Governor of Abia State, Chief Barr. Olugu Kalu Ugba (Ishi Bu Mba) hosted members of the peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Okamu Ward to intimate them on his political ambition.
During the meeting, Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba informed his people of his readiness to contest for the office of the Executive Governor of Abia State in the 2027 governorship election.
The Legal luminary used the medium to inform the people of Okamu Ward why he is coming out and the reason why it is the turn of Abia North. He Admonished all party members to go out and sing the song of PDP as PDP is back on track to reclaim the government house comes 2027 and he is the best man for the Job.
Responding, the Ward Chairman of PDP in Okamu Ward, Chief Agwu Ukpai expressed gladness with the ambition of Barr. Ugba stating that it’s a welcome development as it is the turn of Abia North Senatorial District to occupy the position of the Abia Governorship sit. Chief Agwu said that the people of Okamu has no doubt in the capacity of Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba as he is a tested and trusted leader who has proven himself in the past. He pledged the support of the entire PDP members of Okamu Ward for the victory of their beloved son.
Also speaking, secretary of the ward, Elder Monday Kalu Ekea, woman leader, Elder Mrs. Nkechi Inyima among others maintained that Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba’s Governorship ambition is long overdue as he has paid his dues not only in the PDP but in the service of humanity.
They pledged to lead the campaign and mobilization of other people across party board in the entire Ohafia LGA for Chief Olugu Kalu Ugba because they know who is and what he can do.
The meeting witnessed party members from Okon, Amuma, Amangwu and Ufiele that made up the Okamu Ward.
Highlights of the meeting was distribution of over 100 bags of rice, noodles etc to party members.
