HON Ibe Okwara Osonwa JOINS LABOUR PARTY, NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS and Trade Union CONGRESS OF NIGERIA IN ABUJA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING.
The Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa,on Tuesday joined leaders of the Labour Party alongside representatives of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) at a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja aimed at strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting focused on fostering unity within the party,rebuilding internal trust and establishing functional structures from the ward level upward to ensure better coordination and preparedness.
Speaking after the session Hon. Osonwa stressed the importance of credible membership registration, active polling unit coordination and proper documentation of election results, noting that these measures would be critical in safeguarding the mandate of the people.
He described the engagement as more than a routine meeting, emphasizing that it represents a call for discipline, early preparation and sustained grassroots mobilization.
According to him the task ahead requires collaboration between party leaders, labour institutions and key stakeholders to build a stronger and more coordinated platform that genuinely reflects the voice of Arochukwu/Ohafia and delivers accountable representation.
Hon. Osonwa reaffirmed that preparations for 2027 must begin immediately, anchored on grassroots structures and strategic organization.
