Mayor of Arochukwu LGA Engr Okereke Eze Aru Hosts Traditional Rulers of Abia North, Makes Case for Unity And Security of Abia North.
In a move to foster development, peace and security in Abia North and Abia State in general, the Mayor of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Engr. Okereke Eze Aru, hosted traditional rulers from Abia North.
The meeting aimed to establish a partnership for the growth and progress of Abia North, Security, peace and voting strength of the District.
During the meeting, Engr. Okereke Eze Aru, who has been proactive in his leadership role by providing leadership qualities and developmental strides especially in transforming the LGA headquarters stated that the meeting with traditional rulers was to further demonstrates his commitment to collaborative governance and to consolidate on the already established peace and tranquility by the Executive Governor of Abia State.
Some of the the traditional rulers in attendance includes, the State Chairman of the Abia State council of traditional rulers, His Royal Majesty Eze Linus Nto Mbah (KSS KSM) Eze Solomon of Ututu among others that represented various communities within Abia North, including those from Arochukwu LGA.
The meeting presented an opportunity for Engr. Okereke Eze Aru to engage with these influential traditional leaders and discuss ways to drive development in the region, increase voting strength and numbers in Abia North in other to deliver a stunning vote for the performing Governor of Abia State.
The Mayor stressed that Abia North is a great District with hardworking and influencial men and women that has excelled in all walks of life and has contributed immensely for the development of Abia State and it’s time for the Distinct to come together for more development.
He urged the traditional rulers to continue to partner with the government in the Area of security and development for a better Abia North and Abia State.
Eastern Truth News gathered that this meeting between the mayor and traditional rulers is expected to yield fruitful results, promoting the overall development of Abia state.
