Hon Ibe Okwara Osonwa, Rewriting The Story of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
Democracy they say is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. Also Democracy will be nothing without dividends coming out from it.
The people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency have been yearning for a true Democrat, a passionate and visionary Servant and they found that in Honourable Ibe Okwara Osonwa who has come to rescue his people.
Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is not only standing tall and making the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia proud at the National Assembly by sponsoring great and people oriented bills, motions and carrying out his oversight functions and other duties diligently, but he has gone extreme in bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents by Commissioning many projects in the Constituency, facilitating empowerment programs, securing jobs for his constituents.
Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is truly making a positive impact in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency since he won the House of Representatives election in February and his subsequent inauguration in June of 2023.
Since taking office, he has implemented various initiatives to improve the lives of his constituents.
*Empowerment Initiatives*
1. Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa has completed phases of his 5,000 Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative, providing beneficiaries with startup grants and essential tools, including laptops.
2. His scholarship initiative has earned him praise from constituents, providing opportunities for tertiary education.
3. He also offers international scholarships for postgraduate students from Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs.
*Infrastructure Development*
1. He built new classroom blocks and a solar-powered borehole for constituents, providing access to clean water and improved education facilities.
2. Ongoing projects include the construction of solar-powered boreholes, rehabilitation of roads etc
*Other Initiatives*
– He facilitated federal employment for several graduates and provided support for farmers through training and empowerment programs.
Overall, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is dedicated to improving the lives of his constituents and promoting sustainable development in the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
Just recently, in marking his 2 years anniversary in the House of Representatives he commissioned a six class rooms block at Abia Ohafia, another six class rooms block at Abam High School, Arochukwu LGA, he commissioned a solar powered Borehole at Okpo, Ihechiowa.
Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa inspected a 3Km Mgbaga road that he attracted in Ohafia LGA among other projects.
Truly, Honourable Ibe Okwara Osonwa has shown that effective representation is not a rocket science as he has shown in the last 2 years.
He has changed the story of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency from Constituency of abandoned projects to the Constituency of completed and commissioned projects.
Constituents of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency should rejoice and continue to pray for Hon Okwara Osonwa because more good things are still coming.
