In a powerful demonstration of his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is facilitating a transformative free training and empowerment programme for 150 deserving widows and women across the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
This significant initiative is a collaborative effort, proudly brought to you by the Nigerian Army in partnership with Mandalor Consultant Limited.
This programme is a direct reflection of Hon. Okwara’s vision to ensure that the dividends of democracy are tangible and impactful for every individual within Arochukwu/Ohafia. “Our goal is to uplift the most vulnerable members of our society, providing them with the tools and resources they need to achieve economic independence and contribute meaningfully to our community,” stated Hon. Okwara. “By empowering our women, we are not just changing individual lives; we are strengthening the very foundation of our constituency.”
The comprehensive programme is scheduled to officially commence on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at De-KOKO Hotel, Asaga Road, Ebem Ohafia. Following this initial gathering, participants will proceed to selected centers within the constituency for specialized, hands-on training tailored to equip them with valuable, market-relevant skills.
A key highlight of this empowerment scheme is the robust support package for all beneficiaries. Every single participant will receive a valuable startup kit essential for their chosen trade, alongside crucial financial startup support. This comprehensive aid is designed to ensure that participants can immediately apply their newly acquired skills and establish sustainable livelihoods.
