May 29 (Part II): Senator Akobundu’s Scorecard on Digital Skills Acquisition Programme for Youths of Isiala Ngwa South LGA
On May 29, most elective political office holders in Nigeria will be marking their 2 years in office. However, others like Senator Austin Akobundu whose inauguration was delayed for another 5 months till November 2023, and effectively commenced legislative duties only in January 2024, because tye National Assembly proceeded on their annual Christmas/New Year break shortly after, immediately commenced activities to fulfil his campaign promises including youth empowerment and skills acquisition programmes.
Based on the foregoing, youths from Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, like others, participated in the Senator Austin Akobundu FREE Digital Skills Acquisition Programme where they were trained in different lucrative areas of ICT like UI/UX, Web Design, Professional Graphics Design, Cyber Security Systems and Operations, Digital Marketing, Forex Trading, Software Development and Data Science
Three youths were selected from each ward in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area as follows:
